Who Is Kate Ellis?


Certified Clinical Counseling Hypnotherapist

As a Certified Clinical Counseling Hypnotherapist, Kate Ellis has been trained by The American Association of Hypnotherapist Examinars, The Hypnosis Foundation of Chicago and is Certified with The National Guild of Hypnotists,  the Association of Counselors and Therapists, Brookside Counseling and Hypnotherapy and a member of the Arizona Society of Professional Hypnotists. Kate instructed at Scottsdale Community college, former faculty with Morraine Valley Community College and St. Xaviers Universtiy in Illinois. She has taught a variety of courses, credited and adult continuing educational courses including Personal self-development, Creative Visualization, Self-esteem, Assertiveness training, Self-hypnosis and Relationship Development, along with Behavior Modification including Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, Anxiety/Panic Attack and Phobias and Depressive Disorders.

Many clients have successfully achieved healing/remission of many stress related disorders including Crohns, Illitus, Colitus disorders, Pain management, Inflammatory conditions and Anxiety/Panic disorders, OCD, Procrastination & Depression. 

Counseling Hypnotherapy aids in habit control, cravings, motivation, behavior modification and techniques of self-hypnosis are some of the profound skills taught and acquired. Most clients goals are acheived is 3 sessions, for others it's 7-12, such as OCD or dual diagnosis, such as depression/addictions.

Encouraging individuals to discover their own creative and intuitive abilities, self-empowerment and actualizing their innate potentials are the goals are the motivation of Kate's hypnotherapy practice.

Kate presents lively, interactive demonstrations & discussions of hypnosis for small and large groups,  both professional and public conferences.  Most presentations are free to the public, as well as workshops that are fee based. In the spirit of making these powerful, life changing presentation available for everyone, most workshops are priced under $50.00.

Kate has been interviewed for newspaper articles both in Illinois and Arizona & local television programs. Her latest article was published in the Aznews.net on issues dealing with the “Comfort Zone” and how we feel uncomfortable as we expand our personal boundaries of self-growth and the realization of our innate potentials.
